Hi, my name is Matt. I’m an extreme sports photographer based in Cornwall. I enjoy doing things that elderly people would most likely tell you is silly and dangerous, whether it’s cliff jumping, exploring underwater caves, or climbing sea cliffs. Living in Cornwall allows me to do the things I love and provides a stunning backdrop for documenting it. As a photographer, I always end up taking photos of other people doing cool things but never have any photos of myself. This means that the greatest insight into my life is through my eyes and through the lens of my camera. This way, my best photos are also my greatest memories.
I love the outdoors and nature and I hope that my photography shows how beautiful it is to be able to connect to nature through sports such as surfing and climbing. I like to capture more than just the action shots. Often the subjects in my photos are friends and I enjoy documenting the smaller memories and moments to go with the big sends and big shots.
